Voyager and 3P Learning Host Fourth Annual World Math Day Competition; Students from aAround the Globe Compete Online as They Aim To Once Again Set a New World Record

DALLAS, February 1, 2010- Last year, a new world record was set after a staggering 1,952,879 million students from 38,058 schools in 204 countries answered 452,681,681 math questions correctly during the World Math Day competition. Will there be a new world record set this year?

We believe the answer is yes! That’s why Voyager and 3P Learning today announced that they will host the fourth annual World Math Day online math competition on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at www.worldmathday.com. During the competition, students will take part in real-time battles of speed and skill and may participate at home, school or anywhere they can access the Internet.

Registration begins on February 1, 2010, and closes on March 2, 2010. Participation is free and open to children ages 5-18 from around the globe. Existing Voyager VmathLive schools and 3P Learning Mathletics schools will have automatic entry into the event. Teachers and students who are not current VmathLive or Mathletics users can register for free at www.worldmathday.com.

Once students register, they will have access to a practice session until the competition begins on March 3. Students will be able to compete against other students as long as it is March 3 somewhere in the world.

Prizes will be awarded for top placement and include the following:
• Minted Gold Medals – World Champions
The student answering the highest number of questions correctly in each age group (5-8, 9-13, 14-18) will be the World Champion and receive a
Minted Gold Medal.

• Gold Medals - Top 10
The top 10 students in each age group (5-8, 9-13, 14-18) answering the highest number of questions correctly will receive Gold Medals.

• World Math Day Gold Award – 4,000 questions
Every student who correctly answers 4,000 questions or more will receive a digital certificate Gold Award.

• Printed World Math Day Gold Award – Top 50
The top 50 students in each age group (5-8, 9-13, 14-18) will receive a printed certificate Gold Award sent by post.
